2024 Yiwu Gushu black tea loose leaf -25g

This tea is produced by the same person that also handles our 2024 Yibang Sheng Raw Pu'erh, as well as the 2024 Yibang White tea. A small production made just for Tai Yang Teas, their farm focuses on respecting the leaf material itself and preserving the pickings, while accentuating the flavors through a lengthy fermentation and gentle roasting to the black tea. Truly a craft of love 

We kept this material loose in order to give a unique brewing experience, and to appreciate the pickings and quality of the leaf overall. The aroma of the tea is distinctly sweet, with the roast coming behind it. As soon as it is brewed the aroma will fill the air and the infusions will instantly be a satisfying dark golden-red color. This flavor of the liquor is honey-sweet and crisp, and is truly what the standard of high quality black tea should be set at, with some minerality and tannins to keep the flavor lingering.

We recommend 5-7g/100ml if brewing Gongfu style, or 1g/100ml if doing grandpa, thermos, or western brewing 212F 100C
