Mao Feng Yabao 'Sweet Melon Bud Black Tea' 25g

Each unit is 25 grams of tea, multiple units will be combined

This is a light, experimental blend of 2 black teas, full oxidized buds with consistent full leaf and processing that creates a floral, fruity taste that I believe pairs greatly with Yabao. This particular sheng Yabao is a purple variety, with an almost unreal sour melon fruitiness in the dry leaf. Great on its own or with cream and sugar (recommended Western brewing). A Unique tea to show people the differences in the shape of leaves, buds, and shoots of Yabao.

Recommended at 212F / 100C 5-7g 100ml Gaiwan, with short 5-10 second infusions to start, increasing by about 5 seconds per. Good for many infusions. Then when you're done with your steeps throw it in a water bottle in the fridge overnight for cold brew!

For western brewing, 200F / 95C 5-7g at about 2 minute steeps.
